INSPIRATIONAL SAYINGS WHICH APPEARED ON THE WALLS OF THE FORMER LES THATCHER'S MAIN EVENT PRO WRESTLING CAMP AND HWA ARENA (CLICK ON ANY IMAGE FOR LARGER VIEW) The “Inspirational Sayings” seen below, appeared on the walls of the former "Les Thatcher's Main Event Pro Wrestling Camp" which was headquartered at 1220 Hillsmith Drive in the Woodlawn section of Cincinnati, before closing it's doors at that location in the summer of 2003.  During a period of time from late 1999 through the late summer of 2002 some of the greatest professional wrestling talent in the industry strained and sweated perfecting their craft, training to return to the major leagues, or giving standout matches to a handful of loyal wrestling fans (125 capacity) every Tuesday night. Over that time period Les handled not only WCW and WWE talent, but also a group of wrestlers who got their beginnings under Thatcher's watchful eye. Most of these sayings were picked from magazines here and there. Two of them are a part of the Thatcher history.  The "Take it Serious" saying came to Les when first starting his storied training camp in 1995 and was on the back of the first camp t-shirt.  Currently, part of the David Allen Coe song, "The Ride"( a favorite of Mick Foley's by the way) is on the back of the first EPWT t-shirt now being worn by the EPWT instructors, and it will be available on this web site to the public in the very near future. This camp was featured on such national stages as MTV's Real Life, ABC's 20/20, MSNBC's Special Edition, and several local, and regional television news programs, along with Men's Journal, Cincinnati Magazine, and two wrestling publications from Japan.
