Justin Murphy brings insight of Gulf Coast region wrestling to site

EPWT.com is proud to welcome a new contributing writer to the Web site. Justin Murphy, a native of Dothan, Alabama, and current resident of the Orlando, Florida area will be contributing articles, columns and editorials to the EPWT Site. Murphy has a background very close to wrestling, having learned from Cowboy Bob Kelly and referee James Beard. Murphy is also currently working on finishing a novel. EPWT Trainer Les Thatcher says, "Justin's perspective and knowledge will bring great content to our Web site. We are proud to have him as part of our team."

In Justin's first contribution, he discusses the history of the Gulf Coast Heavyweight Title. This particular geographic territory was an in-ring home to Les Thatcher in 1966-1967, and Les was an on-air commentator in the area in 1980-1981. Les also produced and hosted a taped show that aired in the area in 1978 called "Southeastern Showcase."
